The Sudan Meteorological Authority has issued warnings of heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds across multiple regions. The forecast indicates that southern and central Red Sea and River Nile states, along with parts of Northern State, northern Kassala, and southern White Nile, will be affected between Friday evening and Saturday morning.
Authorities cautioned that rising water levels in streams and valleys could pose risks of flooding. An orange alert has been declared, with residents advised to stay away from low-lying areas and take necessary precautions.
