Khartoum, Sudan – Khartoum State Police have announced the recovery of 26,356 stolen properties and the arrest of 622 suspects following a series of security operations conducted across the state in recent weeks.
The coordinated operations, carried out in 15 security cordons with the support of the armed forces and intelligence services, also led to the confiscation of 314 firearms, 14,600 rounds of ammunition, and significant quantities of narcotics and unlicensed drugs.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Fath al-Rahman Mohamed al-Toum confirmed that legal proceedings have begun, with all seized items registered as evidence pending trial. He urged citizens to cooperate with the police by reporting crimes, criminal activities, or suspicious behavior through police stations or the emergency hotline 999.
